Making learning visible is a key priority at Franklin Early Childhood School (FECS). The central idea behind visible learning is 'know thy impact'. Teachers at FECS are committed to continually evaluating their impact and making changes to positively influence student achievement and learning. They are committed to seeing learning through the eyes of students and supporting them to realise that teaching is central to their ongoing learning.
In 2018 students, teachers, the executive team and the school board engaged in reflective conversations about what learning dispositions we value and how they would look in action. As a community we agreed that our learning dispositions are: Responsible, Caring, Collaborative, Resilient and Inquiring.
